Greedy optimal subset selection for transformation models (Hothorn et al., 2018, doi:10.1111/sjos.12291 ) based on the abess algorithm (Zhu et al., 2020, doi:10.1073/pnas.2014241117 ). Applicable to models from packages 'tram' and 'cotram'. Application to shift-scale transformation models are described in Siegfried et al. (2024, doi:10.1080/00031305.2023.2203177).

Install

install.packages("tramvs", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-tramvs

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
