Token-Oriented Object Notation (TOON) is a compact, human-readable serialization format designed for passing structured data to Large Language Models with significantly reduced token usage. It's intended for LLM input as a lossless, drop-in representation of JSON data.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
