Provides support for a variety of spatial data sources in 'tmap', including remote, tiled, and streaming formats. Enables the use of external vector and raster data without requiring full data import, facilitating efficient visualization workflows.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from r-tmap/tmap.sources. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-tmap.sources

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
