Palettes generated from Tintin covers. There is one palette per cover, with a total of 24 palettes of 5 colours each. Includes functions to interpolate colors in order to create more colors based on the provided palettes.The data is based on Cyr, et al. (2004) doi:10.1503/cmaj.1041405 and Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Tintin.

Install

install.packages("tintin", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-tintin

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
