These are my collection of 'R Markdown' templates, mostly for compilation to PDF. These are useful for all things academic and professional, if you are using 'R Markdown' for things like your CV or your articles and manuscripts.

Changes in 1.4.0

article2 and article3 will likely be superseded going forward in favor of their Quarto equivalents.
article2 renames sansitup to be acmsans.
article2 functionality copied from Quarto template, except for how authors and affiliations are handled. That's one limitation in R Markdown.
Skeleton example of article2 changed.
article2 and article3 have fixes for use of endfloat package in LaTeX. Additionally, endfloat must be declared as argument in YAML and is honored only when anonymous: TRUE.
Assorted documentation changes for clarity.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
