Generate data objects from XML versions of the Swiss Register of Plant Protection Products. An online version of the register can be accessed at https://www.psm.admin.ch/de/produkte. There is no guarantee of correspondence of the data read in using this package with that online version, or with the original registration documents. Also, the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office, coordinating the authorisation of plant protection products in Switzerland, does not answer requests regarding this package.

Changes in 2.0.3

Do not download current register from the URL on CRAN, in order to avoid timeouts, which are suspected to cause the check failure on one of the CRAN test systems of version 2.0.2
Avoid length one LHS argument for case_when in R/use-rates.R, as this is deprecated in dplyr 1.2.0

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
