Generate common data forms for complex data suitable for conversions and transmission by decomposition as paths or primitives. Paths are sequentially-linked records, primitives are basic atomic elements and both can model many forms and be grouped into hierarchical structures. The universal models 'SC0' (structural) and 'SC' (labelled, relational) are composed of edges and can represent any hierarchical form. Specialist models 'PATH', 'ARC' and 'TRI' provide the most common intermediate forms used for converting from one form to another. The methods are inspired by the simplicial complex https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simplicial_complex and provide intermediate forms that relate spatial data structures to this mathematical construct.

Changes in 0.7.2

Restored the .data pronoun in data-masking verbs (group_by(), distinct(), filter(), arrange(), add_count(), mutate()). The change in 0.7.1.9001 (#144) had replaced these with string literals, which are constants in data-masking contexts and silently broke grouping, filtering, sorting and joins (for example SC(nc) returned a single edge). String literals are kept only in tidyselect contexts (select()), where they are valid.
Fixed SC() on a TRI producing a duplicated edge table.
Fixed sc_path() on trip objects collapsing every trip to a single object.
Fixed sc_segment()/sc_edge() on point-only paths, where string literals in sc_segment_base() gave every point the same edge.
Registered previously-unregistered S3 methods (ARC.SC, PATH.PATH, TRI.SC, sc_coord.Spatial, sc_coord.sfc_POLYGON, sc_coord.sfc_MULTIPOINT, sc_segment.SC).
