Computation of second-generation p-values as described in Blume et al. (2018) doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0188299 and Blume et al. (2019) doi:10.1080/00031305.2018.1537893. There are additional functions which provide power and type I error calculations, create graphs (particularly suited for large-scale inference usage), and a function to estimate false discovery rates based on second-generation p-value inference.

Install

install.packages("sgpv", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-sgpv

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
