Tools for the simulation of data in the context of small area estimation. Combine all steps of your simulation - from data generation over drawing samples to model fitting - in one object. This enables easy modification and combination of different scenarios. You can store your results in a folder or start the simulation in parallel.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-saeSim

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
