A very lightweight package that writes out log messages in an opinionated way. Simpler and lighter than other logging packages, 'rlog' provides a compact feature set that focuses on getting the job done in a Unix-like way.

Changes in 0.2.0

The "log_" functions ("log_error", "log_info", etc) now accept any number of arguments via ... in the function call. Additional arguments will be appended to the message reducing the need for users to adopt workflows like log_info(paste("msg pt 1", variable, "msg pt 2")) which now becomes log_info("msg pt 1", variable, "msg pt 2")
Fixes a bug where the logged output inadvertently included milliseconds

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
