The IntCal20 radiocarbon calibration curves (Reimer et al. 2020 doi:10.1017/RDC.2020.68) are provided as a data package, together with previous IntCal curves (IntCal13, IntCal09, IntCal04, IntCal98), other curves (e.g., NOTCal04 [van der Plicht et al. 2004], Arnold & Libby 1951, Stuiver & Suess 1966, Pearson & Stuiver 1986) and postbomb curves. Also provided are functions to copy the curves into memory, and to read, query and plot the data underlying the IntCal20 curves.

Changes in 1.4.2

added more detail regarding and references to available calibration curves in the documentation for ccurve.
the code within the ccurve function is now shorter and less repetitive.
new internal function (taken from the rice package) to deal more robustly with BCAD (and its zero option is added).
any functions that provide options for rounding, now default to as many decimals as possible (decimals=Inf).
intcal.plot.record now checks that the requested record number is an integer between 1 and 140 (which is the amount of IntCal20 datasets).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
