Provides functions to query the FDA Global Substance Registration System (GSRS) REST API (https://gsrs.ncats.nih.gov/api/v1/). Enables programmatic access to substance records, UNII identifiers, synonyms, external codes, and chemical structures for over 170,000 registered substances.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from c1au6i0/rgsrs. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-rgsrs

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
