Provides a system for reporting messages, which provides certain useful features over the standard R system, such as the incorporation of output consolidation, message filtering, assertions, expression substitution, automatic generation of stack traces for debugging, and conditional reporting based on the current "output level".

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-reportr

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
