A toolset for 3D reconstruction and analysis of excavations. It provides methods to reconstruct natural and artificial surfaces based on field measurements. This allows to spatially contextualize documented subunits and features. Intended to be part of a 3D visualization workflow.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from ISAAKiel/recexcavAAR. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
