Efficient reading of raw markdown tables into tibbles. Designed to accept content from strings, files, and URLs with the ability to extract and read multiple tables from markdown for analysis.

Changes in 0.4.0

BREAKING CHANGE: read_md_table now always returns a named list of tibbles (names "table_1", "table_2", …), or NULL if no tables are found. It reads all tables in the content, including mixed-markdown documents. extract_md_tables and extract_md_table are now deprecated.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
