A wrapper for the 'Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (German National Library) API', available at https://www.dnb.de/EN/Home/home_node.html. The German National Library is the German central archival library, collecting, archiving, bibliographically classifying all German and German-language publications, foreign publications about Germany, translations of German works, and the works of German-speaking emigrants published abroad between 1933 and 1945.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from chgrl/rdnb. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-rdnb

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
