A collection of functions to estimate Rogers-Castro migration age schedules using 'Stan'. This model which describes the fundamental relationship between migration and age in the form of a flexible multi-exponential migration model was most notably proposed in Rogers and Castro (1978) doi:10.1068/a100475.

Install

install.packages("rcbayes", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-rcbayes

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
