Convert digital images to spatially referenced 'SpatRaster' objects, as defined by the 'terra' package, using coordinates from supported spatial input classes. Supported inputs include numeric coordinate vectors and objects from the 'sf', 'terra' and 'stars' packages. The main function is an S3 generic, allowing other packages to extend support to additional spatial classes.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from dieghernan/rasterpic. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
