Previously an R wrapper of the 'ARPACK' library http://www.caam.rice.edu/software/ARPACK/, and now a shell of the R package 'RSpectra', an R interface to the 'Spectra' library http://yixuan.cos.name/spectra/ for solving large scale eigenvalue/vector problems. The current version of 'rARPACK' simply imports and exports the functions provided by 'RSpectra'. New users of 'rARPACK' are advised to switch to the 'RSpectra' package.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from yixuan/rARPACK. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
