Seq2seq time-feature analysis based on variational model, with a wide range of distributions available for the latent variable.

Changes in 2.0.0

Removed non-essential runtime dependencies, including modeest, moments, greybox, tictoc, and the tidyverse utility packages.
Reimplemented descriptive statistics, error metrics, array slicing, timing, and validation with base R utilities.
Smoothing, Kalman imputation, and parallel cross-validation are now explicit optional features and fail with an actionable installation message when their packages are unavailable.
Added input validation, regression tests, and a reproducible introductory vignette.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
