Allows users to access the Oregon State Prism climate data (https://prism.nacse.org/). Using the web service API data can easily downloaded in bulk and loaded into R for spatial analysis. Some user friendly visualizations are also provided.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from ropensci/prism. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-prism

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
