Provides functions for landscape analysis and data retrieval. The package allows users to download environmental variables from global datasets (e.g., WorldClim, CHELSA, ESA WorldCover, Nighttime Lights), and to compute spatial and landscape metrics using a hexagonal grid system based on the H3 spatial index. Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from ManuelSpinola/paisaje. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-paisaje

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
