An interface to easily run local language models with 'Ollama' https://ollama.com server and API endpoints (see https://github.com/ollama/ollama/blob/main/docs/api.md for details). It lets you run open-source large language models locally on your machine.

generate() and chat() support structured output via format parameter.
test_connection() returns httr2::response object by default, but also support returning a logical value. #29
chat() supports tool calling via tools parameter. Added get_tool_calls() helper function to process tools. #30
Simplify README and add Get started vignette with more examples.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
