Several methods have been developed to integrate structural equation modeling techniques with network data analysis to examine the relationship between network and non-network data. Both node-based and edge-based information can be extracted from the network data to be used as observed variables in structural equation modeling. To facilitate the application of these methods, model specification can be performed in the familiar syntax of the 'lavaan' package, ensuring ease of use for researchers. Install

install.packages("networksem", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-networksem

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
