Native rasters are a core R image format which use a compact color representation. This color representation closely aligns with graphics device internals meaning that these images can be rendered quickly. This package provides functions to quickly create, manipulate and composite native rasters.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from coolbutuseless/nara. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
