It provides functions to compute the values of different modifications of the Rand and Wallace indices. The indices are used to measure the stability or similarity of two partitions obtained on two different sets of units with a non-empty intercept. Splitting and merging of clusters can (depends on the selected index) have a different effect on the value of the indices. The indices are proposed in Cugmas and Ferligoj (2018) http://ibmi.mf.uni-lj.si/mz/2018/no-1/Cugmas2018.pdf.

Install

install.packages("mri", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-mri

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
