Multiple imputation using 'XGBoost', subsampling, and predictive mean matching as described in Deng and Lumley (2024) doi:10.1080/10618600.2023.2252501. The package supports various types of variables, offers flexible settings, and enables saving an imputation model to impute new data. Data processing and memory usage have been optimised to speed up the imputation process.

Changes in 2.2.3

Changes

data_clean() now becomes check_data(). This function performs preliminary sanity check before imputation. A few checks have been added.
Some arguments' names have changed in show_var() function for compatibility with **vismi** package.
The dataset nhanes3_newborn has been replaced with newborn, with variables renamed for clarity and to align with the **vismi** package.
Variable names in nhanes3 have been updated to maintain consistency with newborn.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
