A tool to simulate salmon metapopulations and apply financial portfolio optimization concepts. The package accompanies the paper Anderson et al. (2015) doi:10.1101/2022.03.24.485545.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from seananderson/metafolio. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-metafolio

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
