A lightweight package designed to facilitate statistical simulations through functional programming. It centralizes the simulation process into a single higher-order function, enhancing manageability and usability. The package includes ready-to-use functions for common simulation targets.

Changes in 0.5.1

Switched the parallel-map backend used by mcpmap() from pbapply::pbmapply to functionals::fmapn(), matching the equal-length-named-list mapping semantics with sequential/multicore/cluster execution and an optional progress bar. runsim() is unaffected.
pbapply is no longer a dependency; functionals is now the sole Imports.
Standardized Authors@R casing and split URL/BugReports so URL holds only the CRAN package page and BugReports only the GitHub issues page.
Simplified the Description: field.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
