Complete analytical environment for the construction and analysis of matrix population models and integral projection models. Includes the ability to construct historical matrices, which are 2d matrices comprising 3 consecutive times of demographic information. Estimates both raw and function-based forms of historical and standard ahistorical matrices. It also estimates function-based age-by-stage matrices and raw and function-based Leslie matrices.

NEW FEATURES

Function lambda3() can now calculate the dominant eigenvalue of the A, U, or F matrices, using the style argument.
Function bootstrap3() now replaces individual identity with unique values if rename = TRUE.

USER VISIBLE CHANGES

Matrix creation functions now give more meaningful error messages when lefkoMod objects are input without their original hfvdata datasets.

BUG FIXES

Corrected issue in which ahistorical or age-by-stage MPMs can be misidentified as historical by function stage_weight().
Function bootstrap3() no longer throws an exception when using string-based individual identities.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
