Lints 'LaTeX'/'BibTeX' manuscripts against the Journal of Statistical Software (JSS) style guide. Wraps the same 'Rust' rule engine used by the standalone 'jsslint' binary, the browser/'WASM' build, and the 'Python' binding, exposed to R via 'extendr'.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from kollerma/jss-style-checker. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
