Functions to support the ICES Transparent Assessment Framework https://taf.ices.dk to organize data, methods, and results used in ICES assessments. ICES is an organization facilitating international collaboration in marine science.

Changes in 4.3.0

The icesTAF package now depends on TAF, rather than importing and reexporting the TAF package. This streamlines things on the the maintenance side and makes synchronized icesTAF and TAF releases easier. Users may notice that double colon calls such as icesTAF::source.all() no longer work, since source.all() is a TAF function that can be run as TAF::source.all() or simply source.all(). On the plus side, an intermediate help menu will no longer appear, so ?source.all or help(source.all) immediately opens the help page for the user. The depend mechanism means that library(icesTAF) also loads the TAF package automatically.
Added functions artifact(), check.artifact(), get.artifact(), read.artifacts(), and write.artifacts() to work with ICES TAF artifacts.
Added functions taf_api(), taf_get(), and taf_post() to work with the ICES TAF application programming layer using authentication tokens.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
