Provides support for rendering of formatted text using 'grid' graphics. Text can be formatted via a minimal subset of 'Markdown', 'HTML', and inline 'CSS' directives, and it can be rendered both with and without word wrap.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from wilkelab/gridtext. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-gridtext

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
