'Gitea' is a community managed, lightweight code hosting solution were projects and their respective git repositories can be managed https://gitea.io. This package gives an interface to the 'Gitea' API to access and manage repositories, issues and organizations directly in R.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from ixpantia/gitear. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-gitear

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
