Offers various swiss maps as data frames and 'ggplot2' objects and gives the possibility to add layers of data on the maps. Data are publicly available from the swiss federal statistical office. In addition to the \code{maps2} object (a list of 8 swiss maps, at various levels), there are the data frames with the boundaries used to produce these maps (\code{shp_df}, a list with 8 data frames).

Merged pull request from @teunbrand (https://github.com/gibonet/ggswissmaps/pull/1): replaced ggplot2::aes_string() (deprecated) with ggplot2::aes() in function maps2_().
Removed plyr, reshape2 and data.table from "Suggests".
Added sf to "Suggests".
Moved ggplot2 from "Depends" to "Imports".
Added the 8 maps in sf format.
Added a vignette "ggswissmaps data with sf", with some examples of how to use ggswissmaps data in sf format.
Changed/corrected a broken url

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
