Provides 'ggplot2' extensions for political map making. Implements new geometries for groups of simple feature geometries. Adds palettes and scales for red to blue color mapping and for discrete maps. Implements tools for easy label generation and placement, automatic map coloring, and themes.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from alarm-redist/ggredist. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
