A cross between a 2D density plot and a scatter plot, implemented as a 'ggplot2' geom. Points in the scatter plot are colored by the number of neighboring points. This is useful to visualize the 2D-distribution of points in case of overplotting.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from LKremer/ggpointdensity. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
