Visualise overlapping time series lines as a heatmap of line density. Provides a 'ggplot2' statistic implementing the DenseLines algorithm, which "normalizes time series by the arc length to compute accurate densities" (Moritz and Fisher, 2018) doi:10.48550/arXiv.1808.06019.

stat_path_density() is added for binning paths connecting observations in the

order in which they appear in the data.

stat_line_density() now computes count, ncount and ndensity variables,

and the normalise argument is therefore removed.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
