Visualise overlapping time series lines as a heatmap of line density. Provides a 'ggplot2' statistic implementing the DenseLines algorithm, which "normalizes time series by the arc length to compute accurate densities" (Moritz and Fisher, 2018) doi:10.48550/arXiv.1808.06019.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from hrryt/gglinedensity. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
