A micro-package for reading "passwords", i.e. reading user input with masking, so that the input is not displayed as it is typed. Currently we have support for 'RStudio', the command line (every OS), and any platform where 'tcltk' is present.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from wrathematics/getPass. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
