Enables high-dimensional penalized regression across heterogeneous subgroups. Fusion penalties are used to share information about the linear parameters across subgroups. The underlying model is described in detail in Dondelinger and Mukherjee (2017) arXiv:1611.00953.

Changes in 1.0.1

Introduced option to scale sum-squared loss per subgroup by the subgroup sample size. This improves performance in situations with unbalanced groups.
Fixed warning caused by deprecated function in the Matrix package.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
