The 'fstlib' library provides multithreaded serialization of compressed data frames using the 'fst' format. The 'fst' format allows for random access of stored data and compression with the 'LZ4' and 'ZSTD' compressors.

Changes in 0.10.0

This release addresses build problems using the g++ 15 compiler where the <cstdint> header is reported missing.

Also, the bundled LZ4 and ZSTD libraries have been updated to the latest versions.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
