Scans all directories and subdirectories of a path for code snippets, R scripts, R Markdown, PDF or text files containing a specific pattern. Files found can be copied to a new folder.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from zumbov2/findR. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-findR

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
