Parse and create Darwin Core (http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/) Simple and Archives. Functionality includes reading and parsing all the files in a Darwin Core Archive, including the datasets and metadata; read and parse simple Darwin Core files; and validation of Darwin Core Archives.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from ropensci/finch. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
