Implements event extraction and early classification of events in data streams in R. It has the functionality to generate 2-dimensional data streams with events belonging to 2 classes. These events can be extracted and features computed. The event features extracted from incomplete-events can be classified using a partial-observations-classifier (Kandanaarachchi et al. 2018) doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0236331.

Install

install.packages("eventstream", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-eventstream

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
