Estimates power by simulation for multivariate abundance data to be used for sample size estimates. Multivariate equivalence testing by simulation from a Gaussian copula model. The package also provides functions for parameterising multivariate effect sizes and simulating multivariate abundance data jointly. The discrete Gaussian copula approach is described in Popovic et al. (2018) doi:10.1016/j.jmva.2017.12.002.

Install

install.packages("ecopower", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-ecopower

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
