Easily load and install multiple packages from different sources, including CRAN and GitHub. The libraries function allows you to load or attach multiple packages in the same function call. The packages function will load one or more packages, and install any packages that are not installed on your system (after prompting you). Also included is a from_import function that allows you to import specific functions from a package into the global environment.

Install

install.packages("easypackages", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

sudo apt install -y r-cran-easypackages

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-easypackages

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
