Fits multiple thin-layer drying kinetic models to experimental moisture ratio data, compares model performance using statistical criteria, performs residual diagnostics, identifies the best-fitting model, and exports results to Word documents. Twenty models from Ertekin and Firat (2017) doi:10.1016/j.jfoodeng.2016.09.030 are fitted using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm described in Marquardt (1963) doi:10.1137/0111030.

Install

install.packages("dryingkineticmodels", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
