A dimension reduction technique for outlier detection. DOBIN: a Distance based Outlier BasIs using Neighbours, constructs a set of basis vectors for outlier detection. This is not an outlier detection method; rather it is a pre-processing method for outlier detection. It brings outliers to the fore-front using fewer basis vectors (Kandanaarachchi, Hyndman 2020) doi:10.1080/10618600.2020.1807353.

Install

install.packages("dobin", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-dobin

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
