We provide 70 data sets of females of reproductive age from 19 Asian countries, ranging in age from 15 to 49. The data sets are extracted from demographic and health surveys that were conducted over an extended period of time. Moreover, the functions also provide Whipple’s index as well as age reporting quality such as very rough, rough, approximate, accurate, and highly accurate.

install.packages("dhsage", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-dhsage

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
