Changes in 1.8.1

plausible_values/plausible_scores has gained an argument link_error, to include estimation/linking error in CML item parameters
plausible_values/plausible_scores no longer stalls on extremely unlikely scores, making it much faster in some cases.
special characters in item/person property names in project databases are now allowed, however they are still converted to lowercase.
Bugfix: manual interruption of long running computations no longer causes a crash.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled. We list this channel from recorded r2u download activity rather than from a live index of the repository, so treat it as last known rather than guaranteed.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
